Unsigned Turtle Species

I'm not 100% on these, but I think the left one is a Krefft's River Turtle. The right-hand small one is probably a juvenile of the same.

I'm open to differing opinions!

oh, somehow I completely overlooked that there were two small turtles on the right! The one in the back is in a better position (showing the head stripes) and so I think all three are Krefft's Turtles.

I think Krefft's may be likely as that species was held in the Kuranda Koala Gardens which I think must be linked because they are right next to each other and combined tickets can be purchased (BirdWorld, the Butterfly sanctuary and Koala Gardens together are the Kuranda wildlife experience).

The Koala Gardens and BirdWorld are both owned by the Freemans (who also own Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, and the Cairns Tropical Zoo [which closed this year]).

The Butterfly Sanctuary is owned by a different group called CaPTA (About - Australian Butterfly Sanctuary) who own a number of other attractions in the area.

Interesting that there is a combined ticket which includes the Butterfly Sanctuary then if it's not part of the same group.

Both are Emydura macquarii, but I won't speculate as to which subspecies as I don't know the difference between the subspecies.
