Yes, totally brilliant! And I notice that it was shot with a very long lense (see EXIF data) and yet the animals focus on the photographer!
Would you like to tell us a little bit more about this shot, Animal? How far away from the animals were you?
They were like 6 meters away, it was going to be darker (damn you, evil clouds!) and i had to do it free handed. So this is one of the very few good ones in a loooong line The fossas were hungry at this point (feeding was 30 minutes later) and so they looked at everyone, if they have some meat for them^^
This Zoo has mostly NO money but is still brilliant, because they use used material for their park, but it dont look crappy, but really cool. F.e. the viewing-window at the fossas is a old shopping-window
Thank you for posting this pic. Are these males from a litter bred at the zoo? This pic is may new screen saver thanxs. I have always tried to get a good pic at denver and there male Dorian but the bars just don't give you a chance.
