Munich Zoo - Gorilla exhibit

The outdoor gorilla exhibit in Munich Zoo. Not a bad exhibit, but could use an extension and some more places for the apes to hide.

Doesn't look that bad, but maybe some more trees to climb in.

I think, munich is keeping the famous Rock-Mountain Gorilla ? This is probably one of the most bad of new gorilla exhibits in germany. Hmm, apes behind water moats, I don't like that, so a few month ago, a chimp drowned in munich in his water moat...One of so many,many apes, which hasn't to die, but they did....Hey, but the people want to see them without FENCES, who cares, if from time to time an ape die in the water moat ? All of them them are breeding well, there are enough apes in the world for many more water moats....

Also a huge indoor area. Biugger than many zoos outdoor areas

I agree with Zebraduiker that the rocks make the exhibit look kind of ugly, but other than that it looks nice.

It might look "nice", but its usefulness for the animals is somehow doubtful in some aspects; as far as I know, some of the gorillas are not using it, as entering it means walking through a rather dark tunnel.
