The exhibit for South American sea lions in Munich Zoo. Decent-sized but way too boring for the bears.

This looks as if it was built 100 years ago! Nasty-looking architecture and an all-around terrible cage for polar bears. I wish that I had the money to create an "Arctic Ring of Life" in Munich!

They have plans to build a new exhibit for the polar bears, it will be the next big projekt.

its not that bad! I've seen worse polar bear exhibits which the bears look enriched and loving their life.

It's not as bad as it looks. They have also a gras-area and it is not really small. This enclosure will only getting some fake-rocks, so nobody will say: eew concrete...

Next to this will be a second enclosure on the old muskoxen-enclosure.

I think that's just a typo, this is a polar bear enclosure.

Whoops! Can't believe I made that kind of typo without noticing it for a year Of course it is for polar bears and not sea lions
