It has a very curious almost 'futuristic' appearance. But having the cage-style enclosure does give them plenty of climbing space, far more than an open style enclosure, as this photo of the interior shows. I think these are fortunate Orangs to have this space designed for their needs.
All I can say is that while this is far from being my favourite Orangutan exhibit, it is not the worst either. 'Futuristic' is a good word and one I could use too. The indoor exhibit is not attractive though whatsoever.
