A very unusual macropod species in European collections, and one which I had previously seen only once. As such I was very pleased to see a large breeding group of this taxon at Tierpark Hellabrunn; the breeding efforts taking place at Hellabrunn, as well as Tierpark Berlin and Zoo Magdeburg, will hopefully secure this species for the years to come.
