Yes, it is a bad enclosure. And I am sorry if I lack a sense of humor, but I don´t appreciate jokes about "Knut" - the semi-culture-icon he may have become.
It wasn't a joke...
Imagine what the papers, Knut fans, PETA etc would say if he got sent here. It's not that I think he should be treated any better than any other polar bear.
Probably my commentary above was written in bad English, but my point was that this particular web site might not be the best place for cracking jokes about bad animal welfare at zoos.
We are on line and responding to each other at the sime time, ashley-h - so things may get a bit heated up - but let me just in the heat of the moment admit that I feel much more respect for PETA than most people here on this web page.
