Wood Storks (Mycteria americana) - probable last two birds in Europe

The last Wood Stork (Mycteria americana) at Vogelpark Niendorf - and also the final individual in Europe - has recently been killed in a fox attack as has the last Painted Stork (Mycteria leucocephala) at the collection.

I saw both in June, although to my distinct displeasure I didn't get decent photographs of the Wood Stork. I suspect it is incredibly unlikely we will see the species again in Europe.....

Haven´t seen both birds in July already... The Painted Stork was also the last one in a german collection.
