Red-browed Amazon at Walsrode, 22/03/13

The background looks similar to the postcard I have of their Spix pair (in the past). I think I should have gone to Walsrode in the 70/80's when they had the Spix on display(?) as nowhere else does nowadays and I fear I shan't ever see one now... (depressed... )

I don't think much of the structure of this building has changed for some time!

Yes they had the Spix on display and most of the smaller aviaries build against the walls in the Parrot-house have similar background-walls.
