It is a very interesting species! Kept nowhere else outside Madagascar. I saw only one, I think(but I'm not sure) that it might be the last individual of this species!

It is indeed the last individual, but fortunately only the last in captivity. By Malagasy standards they are still common (and the most amazing birds of the island!).
