Hispaniolan oriole male

Around 1988. A tricky one ! At Walsrode we called it simply Hispaniolan blackbird but now where I wanted to upload this photo I wanted to check the English and scientific name but was unable to find something like it. Also a quick check of several books and Zootierliste didn\'t bring any solution !
Any ZooChatter which know the English and scientific name of this \'black beauty\' ?

Tawny-shouldered Blackbird, Agelaius humeralis?

Was also one of mine candidates but the bird at Walsrode clearly has yellow thighs and the Tawny-shouldered blackbird doesn't....

it is one of the species formerly included in the Hispaniolan Oriole Icterus dominicensis; my guess would be Cuban Oriole I. melanopsis but I haven't got a field guide for the area to compare them.

It was collected during an expedition on Hispaniola which also brought back Lizard cuckoos, Hummingbirds, Bullfinches and Todies.

it doesn't look like it has enough yellow to be the Hispaniolan species, but perhaps it is just the way it is holding its wings.

Found it at least ! In the German version of Zootierliste the species is listed as Hispaniola trupial and other names are Antillentrupial und Bananenstärling.
Walsrode is listed as former keeper with no additional information. The only other collection which kept ( and bred ! ) the species was Tierpark Berlin.

BTW thank you Chlidonias and Maguari for bringing me on the right track !
