@Swedish zoofan. This exhibt was build in 1968. completly in concrete. In teh alst years, tehy have made it better, big parts of the exhibit ha snow sand parts, the tree sare new, the elephants have a pool, and in the morning, before opening, the keepers have a walk with the elephanst through the park. In the house, they are no longer chained in the night, so they do the ebst, what they can do at present. For the future, they plan a new elephant house,but they can not start to build it before 2012, because the city is building a street tunnel, which wil be completed in 2012, and they can start first with the new house after they finished the street tunnel.
They can't change the whole zoo within a few weeks ! It needs time and money.
