Diagram of the under-construction (and much-needed) new ape exhibit. The new house seems to just be for gorillas and bonobos; we couldn\'t see anything to say what would become of the orangs. As the new house is a new site, it is possible the old house will be given over entirely to the orangs. Does anyone know for sure?

I would say, this is the new "Human"house, the vistors do have twice the spcae than the poor apes.....

The Orangs will stay in their present bathroom cages, after a reconstruction of the the ape house.

It has to be said that the improvement outdoors looks to be far greater than the improvement indoors (the indoors doesn't look that much different, in truth).

Thanks for confirming regarding the orangs - hopefully they'll at least get some extra space out of the deal.
