This is the smaller of the 2 gorilla indoor enclosures
The house does feature a lot of concrete, but no fake mock rock, but I do like this house, it is good and very spacious for the animals, it has good education and the apes are the centre.

But why building a new house when the house is the same as the old, just a bit bigger. The modern trends are passing the Wilhelma completely, just my opinion. It's way better than the old, that's out of question but the indoor enclosures look like they were build in the 90s. It's like a concrete jungle, just a few "nature ground-areas".
The climbing possibilities are numerous but they're made of steel and fire hoses.
New built enclosures shouldn't be solely concrete buildings.
@GermanZooFan, this indoor enclosure is not solely concrete, the style may be far from new, but why trying to invent the wheel again, if there is a style that works great for the keepers, is together with the many enrichment opportunities also really good for the apes and it also provides good education to the visitors.
