This was the pool for beluga whales and jacobita dolphins. Three belugas lived in here for many years. Two of them died after they have lived a long time at the Duisburg Zoo. The last one, the male " Ferdinand", was send to San Diego in 2004, I could see him there in 2005 and he was feeling fine in his much bigger pool.
