Duisburg Zoo - Dolphin show

The dolphin show was a big surprise for me, since it was no music and no lights, like Kolmården has in their show. Here you could just sit and relax while watching the show, and you can\'t see the dolphins outside the show, so if you really want to see the dolphins, you have to see the show!

can you see the zoos pair of amazon river dolphins outside the show (do they even perform)?

There's only one now and its not in the show, but in a separate building - Rio Negro. (until recently they were in a tiny tank in the aquarium).

It's not strictly true to say you can't see the Bottle-noses outside the show, as the building is open access when a show is not in progress; it's just that you can only view the dolphins from the top of the seating, not walk right down to the pool. I've not seen the show here but have seen Bottle-noses on both my visits.
