Definitely a spacious, naturalistic exhibit that would force visitors to search for the maned wolf. Impressive, and much better than countless other enclosures at the Frankfurt Zoo.
I think he wasn't, but I've posted a lot of Frankfurt pictures in the last few a days, more will follow. Thanks God, that some people here havn't seen the Rundbau,( Boring,Prison,Awul...) my favourite building, which was standing here at this boring maned wolf exhibit, before it was demolished. I hope, his destroyer burns in hell, but I know, he got his punishment....
I think, its time to post pics of the lion and tiger exhibit or the former clouded leopard exhibit. the Grizmkouse is a first class small mammal building, also the bird halls and the exotarium, the pinnieped exhibits are great also, the rhino exhibits are okay( the rhinos have all what they need),not to forget Borgori-Wald, now one of the best ape houses in the world(If I remember Tropcic world at Brookfield-Buah, one of the worst ape houses in the world ! ), the south american exhibit is very good also the giraffe and okapi exhibits and the zebra exhibit.
So I would say, Frankfurt has many, many Top Exhibits and is one of the best zoos in germany, altough its old and small.
More pics of the new ape building and exhibits, please!
And of the Exotarium interior. It was at one time considered the most innovative zoo exhibit in the world. That was a long time ago, but I'd love to see what it looks like today.
