The cage on the pic was the formely outdoor cage for the red howler monkes, but they used it not very often.

Do Howler monkeys not like being outside? I've never seen the ones in Bristol use their outdoor enclosure either.

I don't know, so Stuttgart is keeping Black Howlers with an outdoor cage, I visit the zoo once in a year, but I've never seen them outside,too. I think, they don't like bright sunlight, but even at days with no sunlight, they are all the time inside, altough they can choice, if they want to be inside or outside.

But in the Netherlands, Apenheul, I've seen Balck Howlers outside on an Island.
