I've found some nice pictures of Frankfurt in Zoo in back issues of the 70ty years of a german animal magazine.
This pitures shows the male Hippo"Toni", who survived the second world war in his outdoor pool,trying to get contact to the female asian elephant"Kithany! But the keepers looks like he's not amused about that..
