Reactions: Summer Tanager

Can you tell me what it was like in here, and what was in here?

The day I went it was closed for repairs (at least thats what I thought the sign said in German), anyway the doors were firmly closed, shame as I really wanted to see it.

It was a perfectly decent mid-sized tropical house. Mammal-wise, there were Linne's Two-toed Sloths, White-faced Sakis, tamanduas and (most interestingly) a large group of Pallas' Long-tongued Bats (Glossophaga soricina). There were a few birds, turtles, tortoises and Schneider's Dwarf Caimans.

As an exhibit, nothing too remarkable, but nicely done, and some interesting animals.

Thanks for the reply, not that I need an excuse to go back because I really enjoyed this little zoo, but it's something new for me to see next time.
