I love the wide moats in these great ape enclosures, as instead of sterile, rocky beaches there are large, grassy plants that make it appear quite naturalistic.
Agreed. It gives the illusion that you are observing the apes from across a natural river in the wild, instead of watching them in an exhibit in a zoo. That is what all enclosures in zoos should be about!
