Leipzig Zoo - Discovery House Ark

The interior of the Discovery House Ark in Leipzig Zoo. This used to be the Big Cat House. Now it houses exhibitions on conservation and the Zoo of the Future. Guests can also walk in to one of the old lion exhibits, to see how small it really is.
In my opinion, this is a fantastic way to put an outdated historical animal house to good use.

It does look quite innovative and modern, and hopefully the public understands that this is the future of contemporary zoos.

Furthermore one Greater Indian hill mynah, "Julio", and 2 terrariums with asiatic and south american amphibians....

"and hopefully the public understands that (...)"...Doesn't seem to be the way; most visitors only stay there very shortly, and it's almost always empty...
