The two best pieces of Leipzig advice I can give relate to this room in the basement of the elephant house - come here at 10.15 for the elephant bath and 1.30ish for the pangolin feeding (of which more later!).
Only the pool itself can be seen from this room - so the first you know that the elephant has arrived is when its feet appear!
