I think that rodents in general are really underrated. There are so many different species of spectacular rodents and very little of them are exhibited. Hopefully I can make my list of smaller rodents, such as rats, gerbils, and mice, much larger than it is now. Does Plzen have a good collection of rodents? Are most of them off exhibit?
Yes, sadly much of Plzen's frankly absurd rodent collection is offshow. That said, what is on show would still put most other zoos' rodent displays to shame!
