Pongoland includes Western Lowland Gorillas, Bonobos, two groups of Chimps (mostly ssp. verus) and a mixed exhibit of Sumatran Orangs and Gabriella's/Buff-cheeked Gibbons. The exhibits are all broadly similar (though the Asian apes have rather more climbing).

The moats are full of frogs, as well.

Out of curiosity if the majority of animals in this exhibit are the African apes then why is it called "Pongoland" (presumably after the orangutans)? Is "pongo" a German term for apes in general?

I think 'pongo' is just meant to reflect apes in a general way - could be others know better though.
