The tapir exhibit looks quite nice. Did you feel like it was adequately large for an indoor exhibit? Small tapir exhibits seem to be one of the persistent criticisms of some of the US indoor rainforest exhibits. Did all of the Gondwanaland exhibits impress you?
Some of the Gondwanaland exhibits seemed a just little small given the scale of the house - those for small cats and Hamlyn's Guenon in particular. The tapir exhibit was perfectly fine - bigger than many zoos' outdoor tapir exhibits (including, if my judgement serves, Berlin Zoo's).
