The pangolin dug a bit of a hole before sticking it's head in the ground and sitting there. Any suggestions what it was doing. Pangolins are such cool animals!

The pangolin dug a bit of a hole before sticking it\'s head in the ground and sitting there. Any suggestions what it was doing. Pangolins are such cool animals!
A friend of mine in Ghana had a pet pangolin for a while: it was very cute and very cool and entirely amiable. But it was not bright. It took a great interest in holes and would investigate them carefully and deliberately - in the hope, I presume, of evidence for termites or other edibles.
