A taxon of which I am extremely fond, and a photograph which I hope provides an interesting counterpoint to those I posted of the Ganges Gharial at Zoo Berlin; although often referred to as the False Gharial, having been long-classified as a true crocodile, it is increasingly clear that the Sunda Gharial *is* indeed a member of the Gavialidae.
