Thanks for posting so many beautiful photos, Eagle. Wuppertal's bird house is one of its glories.

Really beautiful - unfortunately when i was there last year they had closed the area (which i assumed was the walk through) due to birds nesting very close to the entrance.

The walk-through area was also closed when I visited last summer too, which meant missing most of the interesting smaller birds.

I somehow missed the path which supposedly lead to the Shoebills too, so I missed them as well. Just another reason to visit again one day!
