Hey, can you give me some information about the Andean Cock-of-the-Rocks in Wuppertal? I'm curious about how many Wuppertal currently has, and if they have ever bred (if so, when?). Also, are they kept in a walk-through aviary or a separated aviary, and do you have any general overview pictures of their exhibit?
Zoo has 1.0 Rupicola peruvianus sanguinolentus in one of the aviary in Birdhouse and 1.0 R.p.sanguinolentus and 1.1 R.p.peruvianus flying freely in the tropical hall with other birds. I do not know anything about breeding.
