Magdeburg Zoo - Africambo (Colobus monkey)

The indoor exhibit for Tanzanian black-and-white colobus (Colobus angolensis palliates) and radiated tortoises (Astrochelys radiata) inside the Rhino House in the Africambo section of Magdeburg Zoo. The colobus monkeys can also be seen in their outdoor walkthrough exhibit.

Inside the Rhino House are also indoor viewings for eastern black rhino (Diceros bicornis michaeli), dwarf mongooses (Helogale parvula) and cape ground squirrels (Xerus inauris) as well as a couple of reptiles.

The Africambo I area is the first phase of the new African savannah area opened in 2010. The whole area is 20.000 m2 and features many African savannah animals. The second part, Africambo II, will feature a new elephant exhibit.
