The private area for marabou storks (Leptoptilos crumeniferus) in African savannah exhibit in the Africambo section of Magdeburg Zoo. The storks share the main exhibit with eastern black rhinos (Diceros bicornis michaeli), defassa waterbucks (Kobus ellipsiprymnus defassa) and can also access the other part of the savannah along with grevy?s zebras (Equus grevyi), gemsboks (Oryx gazella) and rothschild?s giraffes (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi).

The Africambo I area is the first phase of the new African savannah area opened in 2010. The whole area is 20.000 m2 and features many African savannah animals. The second part, Africambo II, will feature a new elephant exhibit.
