This is a walk-through aviary and has (as well as the European griffon vultures and bataleurs mentioned above) also got a large group of northern bald (waldrapp) ibis, a pit-like section for African porcupines and also at the bottom (the closest portion of the aviary to the photographer, under the tree) is a pond where there are fulvous whistling ducks, white-faced whistling ducks and grey crowned cranes (these three species could also go to other parts of the aviary I think but when I was at the zoo today, they stayed around the pond part). I really liked this aviary because the path goes all the way up the fake-rock mountain-thing and the comes out at the top with a view over a pool for African penguins and harbor seals.
