Ugh! My pet hates, 'parrot cichlids', which are ugly hybrids of several beautiful Cichlasoma species, bred in the Far East.
I think aquariums should only show proper red devils or Midas cichlids or arrow cichlids or any of the other beauties from Central America rather than these monstrosities.
I have to agree with you gentle lemur, I really dislike the craze for parrot cichlids. Unfortunately many people love them and think they're really cute...
