I was looking at the map of Dublin Zoo and it says that blackbuck and indian elephants share this exhibit. Do they really and does it work?

They do share the exhibit the blackbuck have a small area and a stable where the elephants cannot access. The blackbuck are very nervous of the elephants but they do venture out into the big paddock.

I dont know how you would define 'worked' but as far as i know they have been there since it opened in 2007!

Are the blackbuck still there today? I have never seen them all the times I've visited. Probably moved onto another zoo now though, correct?

No they are still there! they have a small paddock at the back of the elephants with big steel bars that they can pass through into the elephants, but the elephants cant go through. there is just 1:1

Ah I'll have to have a closer look then next time I go. I've just never seen them before. Hope I do get a glimpse sometime and hopefully get a few snaps.

Here is a picture of the pair. this enclosure is at the back of the above photograph beside the black water tank
