Evidently a honeypot area-and presumably the Gorillas use it a lot(on their side that is...) as there is some cover for them here and I've seen other photos of them near the glass too. Can you also view them right around the outdoor enclosure- even if they aren't using it all?
There is one very favoured spot by the window - Harry used to sit there and Lena and her baby were there at this time. Presumably they've become immune to the constant banging on the glass
There is a long stretch between the house and this area where they are easily visible (see keeper talk photos). I didn't go all around the perimeter of the exhibit this time (it was hot and there was still lots to see) but from what I can recall from my last visit, you'd probably be able to see them if they were on the other side. The planting is very thick though so they can easily disappear.
