Interesting !!!, I never knew that Apenheul had Southern pudus or any other ungulate for that matter. and mixing them with Wooly monkeys is an interesting mix :)
 
@ungulate nerd, they also have Visayan warty pigs and until recently they had white lipped peccary and a bit longer ago maned sheep combined with barbary macaques and more than 20 years ago, they also had springbok on the gorilla island.
 
Apenheul is the nr. one breeder in Europe (probably worldwide) with 65 births between 1990 and 2005 years, according to van Heugten et al 2010 in the International Zoo Yearbook. Also last year 2 woolly monkeys were born and the the first breeding recorded was in 1971.
