The brand new Lemurenland walkthrough island in Artis Amsterdam. This island houses red ruffed lemurs in a very spacious environment with several live and mature trees for climbing in. A fantastic exhibit!
I visited Artis the week that this new island opened in July 2008. I was such a joy to walk among them and seeing the climbing about in the trees after having seen them in their old and crammed exhibit in the Small Mammals House.
