I\'ve been labeling the photos on my computer and have a few that I\'m unsure about what they are. This bird lived in an unlabeled aviary on the outside of the birdhouse with, what I assume is, a female of the same species.
I think it is probably a male black grouse but it seems to be lacking the distinctive red comb despite otherwise looking like a mature individual. ZTL confirms that Artis has them.
