The Common hippo out door enclosure I think this was relatively new when I took this photo and believe it was built around the time of the out door Gorilla enclosure.
But my memory isn't crystal clear on dates.
I believe this is the outside enclosure for the giant tortoises now. After the hippo died this has also been used as an extra enclosure for the tapirs I believe.
