Australian Wildlife Health Center - Sep 2008

What is in the large wire enclosure to the left of the health centre? I can't remember from my visit in 2007, but I'm assuming that it is some type of bird aviary or animal recovery enclosure.

Good question - I seem to remember some animal holding cages along that side of the centre, but I don't recall specifically what is in that enclosure.

I asked a guide who was answering questions inside the hospital and said they were used for rehabilitation of possums and flying foxes ect.
I think I can remember there being about 6 or 7 in a row along the side but you can't get close enough to view into them.

That yellow structure on top - used for heat exchange - is refered to by staff as "Homer Simpson's underpants".
