Allthough Burgers is my second favourite zoo ( after emmen), the safari is always a bit of a dissapointment. Not because the space for the animals, but because it always looks unfinished. A big part of the enclosure looks like it's under construction, while with a little effort it could look a lot better. A couple of years ago, a large rock construction has been build to hide away the new inside enclosures of the safari inhabitants. From the terrace on top of this construction, you can see a pile of sand, with a lot of weed groing on it. I understand it costs money to convert this pile in a pile of rocks, but it would correspond a lot better with the present rockconstruction and complete the rest of the exhibit.
