Burgers Safari - Savannah

Dark clouds gather over the African svannah in Burgers Safari, the African theme in Burgers Zoo. Here lives white rhinoes, baringo giraffes, roan antelopes, cape hartebeest, thompson\'s gazelles, white-tailed wilbeests, grant\'s zebras and common waterbucks.

This savannah looks fantastic and those species would make for and interesting mixed display.

A great addition (well major renovation) to one of the world's most innovative zoos

There's nothing renovated in this picture, that's the problem. You are seeing this from a newly build rock, which is meant to disguise the new stables. This rocky part gives room to a large terrace, but I always find it very disappointing that they haven't done anythin gwith those piles of rubbish ( because that is what they are, allthough you don't see it on this picture). All that money was put to disguise the stables, and the rubbish is just lying there, polluting the view. I am a big fan of burgers zoo, and this simply doesn't fit, a half-renovated savannah.
