Adult and young dusky leaf monkey in Burgers\' Rimba

The young dusky is now in full adult colors.

It is nice to see this species back in the limelight.
It is time more zoos see this opportunity.

It is one of the most frequently confiscated primate / langur species in S.E. Asia!

I also hope this species will spread, but there are possibilities, because an ESB has been created recently and there are now several breeding groups in Europe (several in the aspinall collections, Burgers Zoo), unfortunately one of the current holder, Wuppertal, will stop keeping this species.

Btw, does anybody know anything about the langurs at Twycross?

From an article on their site a year ago: "The six year old male, named Casey, joins the Zoo’s three female dusky leaf-monkeys: Mork (aged 10), Mathilda (aged 6) and Frida (aged 10)."
And: "Twycross Zoo has been caring for dusky leaf-monkeys since it opened in 1963. The Zoo has enjoyed a very successful history breeding this endangered primate, with more than 50 individuals born at the Zoo over the past 50 years!"
