The second, bigger and deeper part of the lagoon. This part is home to species like young giant shovelnose rays, yellow banded sweetlips and unicornfishes.
Burgers' Ocean is one of the two big zoo aquariums in the Netherlands (the other being Blijdorps Oceanium). It represents the journey of a diver through a Southeast Asian sea. Species in the aquarium include blacktip sharks, scalloped hammerheads, spotted eagle rays, a wide array of reef fish and the second biggest living coralreef in an aquarium worldwide.
