vogelcommando 18 Mar 2013 It's not a large enclosure but nor tiny. And no they can't burrow anywhere but they seem to be happy with the hollows created in the enclosure.

Chlidonias 18 Mar 2013 burrowing owls are quite happy with ready-made retreats (e.g. in the wild, prairie dog burrows). The aviary doesn't seem tiny but not especially large either. I'd be more concerned about the door having no safety porch to stop escapes!!

FBBird 18 Mar 2013 This is a nice little aviary, well protected from the weather. Fine for a small owl species.
