In addition to lots of pictures from my two visits to GaiaZoo in 2015 (May 2nd and August 7th), I'm also adding a couple of historical shots from previous visits, which I think are helpful for my descriptions of the current situation.
Until late 2013 or early 2014, the area in this picture was in between the wolf (to the right) and lynx enclosures (to the left). GaiaZoo first held gray, then Iberian wolves. The shelter in the middle still exists, but is now part of (the entrance to) the Invasive Species Aviary, which replaced part of the ancient wolf enclosure and an unused area. The other part of the wolf enclosure was replaced by the raccoon and skunk enclosure.
