lion enclosure

Is this exhibit new...It looks bigger then I remember.

Never saw such a high fence for lions.
How many do they keep?

I believe that there are only 2 male lions, as there is a review on one of the ZooChat threads. The fence is extremely high, and I wonder what other viewing opportunities there are. Hopefully there is some kind of platform overlook or glass window.

The fence needs to be a minimum of 4 or 5 metres (can't exactly remember) in victoria, with a one metre inhang.

The side the lions are facing is the viewing area. there is a small fence to keep people off the main fence but you get a good look at them fron there. I took this photo across a Walaby enclosure.
