Rotterdam Zoo - Blackbucks

The group of blackbucks in their quite interesting indoor exhibit inside the Asian House in the Asia-theme of Rotterdam Zoo. A great opportunity to see a blackbuck close by.

Is the enclosure the same size as the spotted deer? (There seem to be a LOT of blackbuck!). And is the viewing through glass?

I always thought Blackbuck were quite skittish so it is strange to see them so close to a viewing area.

It is much larger.

@ PAT; I guess that when they can't hear and smell the visitors that they don´t mind. ) They can see the visitors, so it´s not the kind of glass that you can only look through from one side.
