male ornate cowfish (Arcana ornata)

at Melbourne Aquarium, photo taken 7 Nov 2007. This is an awesome fish, looks like a cartoon! Its a terrible photo but the darn fish wouldn't stay still.

Never seen that species in any aquarium, wow. Unfortuantely, its not easy to take pics of fishes, they are all the time in movement...

Nice shot, but this is a male of a close relative, the ornate cowfish (Aracana ornata). As a google search reveals you're not the first to confuse them but here are real Aracana aurita: http://www.ozanimals.com/Fish/Shaw's-Cowfish/Arcana/aurita.html

yes they had both species in one tank at the Sydney Aquarium when I was there in 2010 and they had their picture labels correct (although I wasn't sure if that was in fact the case because there was a lot of confusion on the internet!). When I photographed this one in 2007 at Melbourne Aquarium it was labelled incorrectly and I never fixed the title
